BERcerts.ie are now offering a ventilation validation service. This was brought in under the National Standards Authority of Ireland (NSAI) ventilation validation scheme and is a requirement under Part F of the building regulations.
NSAI has established a registration scheme that certifies an individual as a competent independent third party to validate that a ventilation system has been installed, balanced and commissioned to meet the minimum requirements of Part F building regulations.
Since its introduction BERcerts.ie has 2 registered Ventilation validators. We see this scheme as being very important to making sure that homes have adequate ventilation. For this reason we offer guidance to Builders and homeowners to help make this a reality.
